Biography

"Degree in History from the University of Barcelona (2007). He has taken the official master's degree in Archeology at the same university (2007-2009), defending the master's work Study of the territory in the Osona region from the Iberian Peninsula to the High Empire in September 2009 obtaining the qualification excellent Between 2013 and 2016 he has a pre-doctoral contract at the ICAC that allows him to develop his doctoral thesis, The Roman military implantation in Catalonia: characterization of military spaces in the NE of the Citerior in the late-Roman period (II. I ane), directed by Dr. Joaquin Ruiz de Arbulo (URV-ICAC) and Dr. Jordi Principal (MAC), defended on October 24, 2016 with the highest rating. During the development of the doctoral thesis it realizes up to three stays abroad. First, thanks to the Short Stays Help (AEE2013) of the Rovira i Virgili University, it can work for three months, in 2013, at the Ausonius Institute - Université Michel de Montaigne Bordeaux 3. Under the supervision of the Researcher of the CNRS Dra. Milagros Navarro. Subsequently, during the month of April of 2015, he works at the Sackler Library within the Bodleian Libraries system of the University of Oxford. Finally, during the final months of preparation of the thesis, he made a stay in Rome during the month of March 2016. On this occasion he works in the libraries of the German Archaeological Institute of Rome, the French School of History, Archeology and Social Sciences of Rome and also at the Spanish School of History and Archeology in Rome - CSIC. During the last years he has participated in congresses, seminars and workshops both national and international, as well as the organization of them. In this last point, coordinates the International Seminar of the ICAC-URV, Castilla et Praesidia on the Mediterranean facade of Hispania tardorepublicana, held in Tarragona on May 13, 2014. He has participated in national and international excavations related to the protohistoric and Roman world, emphasizing his involvement in the archaeological and spreading project of the Camp de les Lloses de Tona (Osona) site and the excavation project of the Roman fort from Monteró (Camarasa, La Noguera). He is co-director of the archaeological project Exploration and evaluation of the protohistoric settlement in the Lluçanès area (Osona), centered on the Roman-Republican site of Puig Ciutat (Oristà, Osona). Since 2015, he also participates, along with other ICAC researchers, in a multidisciplinary project for prospecting and knowledge of sites and their territory in the area of ​​the province of Huesca. This work is possible thanks to the support of the Institute of Altoragonal Studies. Within the awards of the LXXXVI Prizes and Study Scholarship Poster of the Institute of Catalan Studies (2017), he has received the Prize of Archeology and Ancient History Josep Puig i Cadafalch, for his thesis work. The distinction is granted by the IEC Historic-Archaeological Section. He is currently also working, in the same field of study, in the project of the Ministry of Integration spaces in Republican Rome: the NE of Hispania Citerior (133-72 BC) HAR2014-59503-P, led by researcher ICREA Dr . Toni Ñaco del Hoyo from the University of Girona."
