Biography
"He have a BSc in Environmental Sciences and a MSc in Terrestrial Ecology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and nowadays he is a prePhD researcher at CREAF. His research is related to insect ecology, particularly to the study of food webs. By using stable isotopes of C and N I study the spatial variability in food webs of edaphic arthropods communities, but also those of concrete groups, such as ants. Nowadays he focus his efforts in the study of pollinator networks. Concretely he aims to understant how these communities respond to abrupt changes in plant composition, and how this response affect ecosystem functioning. In addition to that he study the variation in solitary bee communities and their associate parasitoids in relation to landscape features (fragmentation, plant communities, etc.).
