Biography
Sociologist from the National University of Colombia, Master in Population and Development from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences, Mexico. He is currently studying a PhD in Demography at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and is a student at the European Doctoral School of Demography 2015-2016 . He is part of the "Gender and Divorce" line of the CED's Fertility and Families Research group, in which he develops a thesis on the dissolution of unions in Colombia under the direction of Dr. Albert Esteve and Dr. Monsterrat Solsona. He has conducted research on partner violence, sexual and reproductive rights; health and population; international migration and trafficking in persons. His works have a focus on gender, life course and social inequalities.
