Biography
Degree in Physics, with Astrophysics specialisation, in 2000, obtaining Applied Physics specialization in 2001, from the University of La Laguna (ULL, Tenerife). In 2000 get a fellowship at the IAC (Tenirife) and in 2001 at the ITER (Tenerife) as first steps in R&D. In 2002 he started working at CIEMAT (Madrid) as a researcher in training, obtaining a Ph.D. in physics from the UNED (Madrid) in 2006, related to heat and mass transfer models for natural cooling in buildings. Launched in 2007 the project of biogas program EnDev-Bolivia (La Paz , Bolivia) of GIZ, which lasted until mid-2012. Incorporated in 2008, as a researcher PhD, at the Building Energy and Environment Group CIMNE (Barcelona) developing most of his scientific activity in Latin America (especially Bolivia, also Chile, Ecuador and Perú) linked to the development and implementation of appropriate technologies (mainly digesters). In 2011 founded and coordinates with other local stakeholders, as the UMSA, the Centre for Research in Biodigestores, Biogas and Biol (CIB3) near La Paz (Bolivia). R & D Coordinator of REDBIOLAC from 2011-2012 and member of the board today. From June 2014 is enjoying a PROMETEO fellowship at the INER of Ecuador. He has published 14 scientific papers in JCR journals. He has 119 citations and a h-index of 7 by Scopus, and 246 citations and h-index of 9 by Google Scholar. He is author of 2 complite books and several chapters.
