Joan Sales Favà

Biography

Degree in Sociology from the University of Barcelona (2013). During the race, he took part in the Neighborhood Association of Barcelona Federation (FAVB), within the project "Neighborhood, living space". During the 2013-2014 academic year he completed the Official Master's Degree in Territorial and Population Studies (demographic itinerary) co-organized by the Department of Geography of the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Center for Demographic Studies. The following year, 2014-2015, he has conducted the European Doctoral School of Demography(EDSD) between the cities of Rostock ( Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research ) and Warsaw ( Warsaw School of Economics). Since October 2014, he has been enrolled in the doctoral program of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, ​​developing the doctoral thesis The consequences of globalized urbanism in Barcelona, ​​30 years of sociodemographic changes (1986-2016) under the tutelage of doctors Juan Antonio Módenas Cabrerizo and Antonio López Gay. Since March 2016, enjoy a FI-DGR scholarship.
