Biography
Kenneth Pitarch Calero holds a degree in History (2009) from the University of Valencia. He has completed the Master's Degree in Teacher Training (2010), the Master's Degree in Territorial Studies and Population in the Specialization of Demography (2012) and the Postgraduate in Management and Digital Treatment of Historical Documentation (2014), all at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. In addition, during the realization of his studies, he has taken part in the Freie Universität in Berlin (2006-2008) and the Franco-German research center in social sciences Marc Bloch in Berlin (2016). He is currently conducting a doctoral thesis on Valencian emigration under the name of "Valencian migrations and the transmission of identity. A sociodemographic approach in Catalonia and other destinations "with the tutoring of Doctors Andreu Domingo and Amand Blanes at the CED.Five Centuries of Marriage (European Research Council, Advanced Grant) led by Dr. Anna Cabré and since 2016 she works as a researcher recruited at the CED, where she is part of the Demographic Studies and Migration Group.
