Biography
Laia Nadal Reixats obtained her MSc Telecommunication Engineering degree from the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyeria de Telecomunicació de Barcelona (ETSETB) of the University of Catalonia (UPC) in July 2010. She obtained the European Master of Research on Information and communication Technologies (MERIT) from the Signal Theory and Communications (TSC) department of the UPC in 2012. She received her PhD degree from TSC department of the UPC in November 2014. In 2010, she was awarded with the FPI grant from the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness (MINECO) to perform her PhD within the framework of the National project DORADO in the CTTC. From May to August 2013 she was a Visiting Ph.D. Scholar in ADVA Optical Networking (Germany). She currently is a Researcher of the Communication Networks Division. Her research interests include signal processing and advance modulation formats for optical communication systems.
