Biography
"Marco Miozzo received his Ms. Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Ferrara (Italy) in 2005. After graduated, he worked as a Research Engineer in wireless networking for the Consorzio Ferrara Ricerche (CFR) and for the Department of Information Engineering (DEI) of the University of Padova, both in Italy. In CTTC he has been involved in the development of an LTE module for the network simulator 3 (ns3) in the framework of the LENA project. Currently he is collaborating with the EU founded H2020 Scavenge (MSCA ETN), 5G-Crosshaul, Flex5Gware and SANSA projects, working on environmental sustainable HetNets. He is pursuing a PhD thesis at the department of Telematics Engineering of Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). His main research interests are in: sustainable mobile networks, green wireless networking, machine learning and energy harvesting in mobile networks."
