Biography
"Nicola Piovesan received the B.Sc. degree in information engineering and the M.Sc. in telecommunication engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2013 and 2016, respectively. Currently, he is pursuing a PhD at the department of Telematics Engineering of Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). In September 2016 he joined the Centre Tecnològic de Telecomunicacions de Catalunya (CTTC) in order to work as Early Stage Researcher in the framework of the H2020 MSCA SCAVENGE (Sustainable Cellular Networks Harvesting Ambient Energy) project. His current research interests include energy harvesting in wireless communications, energy transfer systems and resource allocation in wireless communication systems."
