Biography
"She is a BSc in Biology and MSc in Terrestrial Ecology by the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her research is focused in plant-pollinator interactions. Her Master project is about floral traits and pollination syndromes. Specifically, it is about the relative importance of floral colour in determining floral visits by pollinators. In her PhD she focuses on the degree of intrinsic spatial variability in plant and pollinator communities, and how this variability promotes spatial variation in interactions in a homogeneous habitat. she also analyze the effect of the spatial variability in interactions on ecosystem functions: pollen deposition and seed production. Her research interest includes : Floral colour, floral traits, pollination syndromes, plant-pollinator interactions, interaction networks, beta-diversity, spatial variability, ecosystem function"
