Pedro Nueno Iniesta

Biography

 Dr. Pedro Nueno Iniesta, Ph.D., is Emeritus Professor of Entrepreneurship. Dr. Nueno Iniesta serves as Vice Chancellor of the International Academy of Management and the President of the International Society of Macro-Engineering Societies and the Spanish Macroengineering Association. He serves as the Chairman of the Academic Council, China-Europe International Business School and the Academy of International Business, the Institut Català de Finances. He has been Non-Executive Independent Director of Naturhouse Health, S.A. since October 8, 2014. He founded Finaves S.C.R., S.A. and served as its President and Chairman. He served as an Independent Advisor of Puig Beauty & Fashion Group S.L. He served as an Assistant Technical Manager at Catalan Railways from 1966 to 1968. He served as Consultant to the EEC in 1986, Consultant to the World Bank from 1977 to 1981 and Consultant to the OECD from 1975 to 1976. Dr. Nueno Iniesta served as Vice Chairman of the Board of Finaves China S.C.R. He serves as a Director of Centro Médico Virtual, the American Society for Macro-Engineering, the European International Business Association and the Academy of Management. He serves as a Member of Advisory Board of Asociadis de Inversiones S.L. He serves as a Director of Puig S.L., Aqueduct Medical, Inc., Advance Medical Enterprise Inc., Autoplus S.L., Smart Medical Group SL and ADVANCE MEDICAL -HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT S.A. He served as an Independent Director of Nicolás Correa S.A. He served as a Director of Transportes Azkar SA since June 26, 1998. Dr. Nueno Iniesta served as a Director of Caprabo S.A. and Renta Corporacion Real Estate, S.A. He served as a Member of Advisory Board of BCD Foundation in 1984, Patronat Catala Pro Europa from 1984 to 1998, European Foundation for Management Development, as well as several Advisory Boards at Harvard University. Dr. Nueno Iniesta serves as Professor of Entrepreneurship of IESE Business School-Barcelona. He founded International Institute for Strategic Procurement Management. Dr. Nueno Iniesta joined the IESE Business School in 1968 as a Research Assistant in the Department of Production and served as its Head of the Department in 1973, Full Professor 1982 and Bertran Foundation Chairman for Entrepreneurial Management until 1987. He served as an Executive President of China Europe International Business School in China. He holds the Bertran Foundation Chair of Entrepreneurship at IESE and the Chengwei Ventures Chair on Entrepreneurship at CEIBS. He served as a Director of Puig Beauty & Fashion Group S.L. He worked as a Guest Professor in Harvard University and Oxford University. Dr. Nueno Iniesta was awarded the title of Professor of the Year by the Marketing Club of Barcelona in 2001, the Officer's Cross of the Order of Civil Merit by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2003, the Cross of Saint Jordi by the Generalitat de Catalunya in the same year and the Magnolia Award by the Government of Shanghai in 2004. He qualified as a Technical Architect from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Aparejadores of Barcelona in 1966 and as an Industrial Engineer, from the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales of Barcelona in 1968. In 1973, Dr. Nueno Iniesta has a PhD in Business Administration from Harvard University and a degree in Industrial Engineering and Quantity Surveying from the Universidad Politécnica de Barcelona.
