Toni Foster

Biography

Toni Foster joined Sanifit in June 2016 as our Senior Vice President of Clinical Operations.  Toni brings 25 years of clinical development and project management experience including international management of over 50 drug trials from first-in-human Phase 1’s to large, complex global Phase 3’s, to post-marketing required Phase 4’s, inclusive of challenging orphan drug populations. Prior to joining Sanifit, Toni was most recently at Orexigen Therapeutics as SVP where she led Clinical Operations and the Project Management Office (PMO), enrolling over 10,500 patients in 6 months that led to the company’s first regulatory approvals (FDA/Contrave®, EMA/Mysimba®) for an oral therapeutic indicated in chronic weight management.  She also managed the company’s initial planning (PMO) for their first non-US commercial partners and US product launch.  Prior to this, Toni held various key Clinical and Project Management leadership positions over 20 years at both CROs and small biotechnology companies, notably at Quintiles, PAREXEL, and PRA Health Sciences; BioVascular, Inc., and La Jolla Pharmaceutical Company, respectively. Toni has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Michigan State University, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from the University of Phoenix.
