Biography
Astrid Morer is a specialist doctor of the Psychiatry and Child and Youth Psychology Service of the Institut Clinic de Neurociencies of Hospital Clinic de Barcelona. PhD in Medicine from the Universitat de Barcelona has developed her clinical and research activity on autoimmunity related to psychiatric diseases such as the Trasto or Obsessive Compulsive or the Tourette's Syndrome. She is the author of national and international papers and publications and her work on the immunological bases of some psychiatric disorders has received several awards. She is currently completing a postdoctoral training period at the Child Study Center-Yale University, USA.
