Carla Obradors Tarragó

Biography

Degree in Biotechnology (2004) from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Between 2004-2006 hired as a technician in the group of Neuroconductual Phenotyping of Murine Models of Diseases of the Center of Genomic Regulation of Barcelona (CRG). Between the 2006-2007 pre-doctoral scholarship granted by the Center for Genomic Regulation. Between 2007-2010 pre-doctoral FI grant awarded by the Agency d \ 'Ajuts Universitat i de Recerca (AGAUR) of the Generalitat de Catalunya. In 2007, obtained the Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA). In 2011, obtained the title of Doctor by the University of Barcelona (UB). Thesis dedicated to the study of the development of the cerebral cortex of a transgenic mouse with overexpression of the neurotrophin 3 receptor, TrkC, previously validated as an experimental model for panic disorder. Doctoral thesis framed in the Doctoral Program of Neurosciences of the UB and realized in the group of Neuroconductual Phenotyping of Models Murinos of Diseases of the CRG, under the supervision of the Dr. Mara Dierssen. Since September 2011, hired as a postdoctoral researcher by the San Juan de Dios Foundation and subsequently by the CIBER for Mental Health to participate in the coordination of the ROAMER European Project within the group of Dr. Josep Maria Haro.
