Biography
Psychiatrist researcher at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service of the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital, IiSGM (CIBERSAM G01), since June 2011. Coordinator of the research group since June 2014. At present, his research activity is focused on the evaluation of patients with first psychotic episodes and the coordination of the European projects OPTiMiSE and EULAST. It also collaborates in the evaluation of children and adolescents with early onset psychosis and with a high risk of developing psychosis. His main areas of interest are the study of the efficacy and tolerability of psychopharmacological interventions in children and adolescents and the neurobiological factors involved in the development of schizophrenia and other psychoses.
