Biography
David Fraguas (Madrid, 1976) is a clinical psychiatrist and researcher at the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service (SEPNA) at the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital and at the Center for Biomedical Research in the Mental Health Network (CIBERSAM). It is dedicated to the care of children and youth with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as psychosis, autism and other mental problems. She works as a psychiatrist in the SEPNA consultation and in the Comprehensive Medical Care programs for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (AMI-TEA), 22q11 syndrome and Prader-Willi syndrome. He is the author or co-author of more than 30 scientific articles on psychosis and autism published in international journals. In recent years he has been interested in studying the conceptual history of mental illness.
