Francisco Félix Caballero Díaz

Biography

He is a mathematician (University of Málaga, 2007) and he has a Ph.D. in Statistics and Operations Research (University of Granada, 2011). During the last years, he has worked as a statistician in several research projects in Spain and Europe. Currently, he is working as a postdoctoral researcher in the Affective Disorders Multidisciplinary Research Team ( http://www.trastornosafectivos.com/ ). His research fields at present are: epidemiology, biostatistics, multivariate analysis, measurement, and the relationship between health status and well-being in the aging population, examining differences in this impact across countries with different social and family structure. I have expertise managing large databases and using statistical software like Stata, Mplus, SPSS, StatGraphics and free software environment R . He has conducted statistical analyzes within the World Health Organization Study on Global Aging and Adult Health (SAGE), the Collaborative Research on Aging in Europe (COURAGE in Europe) and the National Epidemiologic Survey on Alcohol and Related Conditions ( NESARC). He has expertise in applied statistics in health and social sciences, and has produced several publications in journals in the first quartile of his subject category in the Journal Citation Reports.
