Biography

Professional Experience He develops his activity at the Hospital Universitario 12 de Octubre de Madrid (1990) in the Brief Hospitalization Unit of Area 11. He is also Associate Professor of the Faculty of Medicine, Universidad Complutense after being in the Faculty of Psychology ( 1997), in whose Clinical Unit remains Psychiatric Supervisor. Training I specialize in psychiatry between 1986 and 1989 at the Hospital Clinico Universitario de San Carlos in Madrid. Bachelor's Degree, at the University of Valladolid and Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery, with outstanding and cum-laude, at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Research and Publications The main field of research has been psychoses, especially schizophrenia, aspects of rehabilitation and neuroimaging, as well as electroconvulsive therapy. He has participated as a principal investigator or co-investigator in more than 8 funded research projects and as an author in 52 articles, 44 papers and conferences. He has been an organizing member of several International and National Congresses and is a member of several professional societies and a reviewer of public research projects.
