Francisco Lomeña Caballero

Biography

Francisco Juan Lomena Caballero is a Senior Consultant at the Center de Diagnostic per la Imatge at Hospital Clinic in Barcelona. Specialist in Nuclear Medicine and Doctor of Medicine from the Universitat de Barcelona. Much of its clinical and research activity is dedicated to the study of the central nervous system by means of photon emission tomography (SPECT) and positron emission tomography (PET). He is an accredited researcher at IDIBAPS, a member of the Schizophrenia Clinic Group and of the newly established CIBER-Sam. He has been President of the Spanish Society of Nuclear Medicine (2003-05). He has presented numerous papers and lectures and is the author of several national and intemational publications on the application of neuroimaging in the investigation of psychiatric disorders,
