Biography
Guillem Masana is a specialist doctor of the Psychiatry Service of the Institut Clinic de Neurociencies of Hospital Clinic de Barcelona. PhD in Medicine from the Universitat de Barcelona in 2001, he has developed his clinical and research activity on schizophrenia and distress or anguish, being a member of the Schizophrenia Clinic Program (PEC) and researcher of IDIBAPS and the Schizophrenia Clinic Group (GEC) which is part of the recently constituted CIBER-sam. He is the author of numerous national and intemational papers and publications, as well as of various books and book chapters. His research work has earned him the 2004 CINP Young Investigator Award, the 2003 ECNP Fellowship Award,
