Biography
Doctor in Psychology. Clinical Neuropsychologist. Professional Activity: I am a Clinical Neuropsychologist, fundamentally dedicated to the evaluation and rehabilitation of people with neurological disorders, especially acquired brain damage (TBI, strokes, encephalopathies) and neurodegenerative disorders (mild cognitive impairment, dementias). This assistance work, the performance in the context of a multidisciplinary team that coordinated, in a center specialized in neuro-rehabilitation (Reintegra: www.reintegra-dca.es).
Research Interest
I have developed my research activity always linked to Neuropsychology: especially in the field of schizophrenia and other psychoses. In recent years, my research activity has focused more on the efficacy and prognostic factors of neuropsychological rehabilitation in different populations (brain damage, mild cognitive impairment) and the development and validation of neuropsychological and functional assessment tools. Also, I am an associate professor at the University of Oviedo (Area of ​​Psychobiology) since 2010 and Technical Director of the Reintegra Foundation, dedicated to the execution of R + D + i projects in neurosciences.
