Biography
Doctor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of Cantabria, he has been working in the Psychiatric Research Unit of Cantabria (UIPC) since 1992, a WHO Collaborating Center accredited for Research and Teaching in Mental Health for more than 20 years . His research activity has been focused mainly on the application of qualitative research techniques in the field of mental health, evaluation of mental health services, development of mental health assessment instruments, follow-up studies in schizophrenia, rare diseases, disability, health-related quality of life assessment in the pediatric age and methodology of cultural adaptation of classification systems of the World Health Organization (WHO).
