Biography
Bachelor of Medicine from the University of Birmingham and Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Psychology from the University of Oxford (UK). He has been a professor at the University of Cambridge and a professor at the University of Glasgow, as well as visiting professor at the University of Herfordshire. He has extensive experience in researching the neurocognitive deficits of psychotic disorders and their relation to symptoms and brain function. He is the author of more than 150 publications in indexed journals and several books, one of them a monographic work on schizophrenia (currently second edition revised) and another on language disorders in schizophrenia. He is currently scientific director at the FIDMAG Sisters Research Hospital.
