Biography
Graduated in Medicine by the University of Barcelona. Specialist in psychiatry. Obtained the degree of Doctor with the thesis "Evolution of the melancholy". She is an associate professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychobiology at the University of Barcelona. Head of section of the Psychiatry Service of the Hospital Clínico de Barcelona. It belongs to the Schizophrenia Clinic Program (PEC). It develops research projects on risk and prognostic factors in serious mental illnesses in addition to pharmacogenetic studies. He has extensive clinical experience in the treatment of serious mental disorders such as depression and schizophrenia. He is currently investigating the predictive factors of therapeutic response of different drugs applied to the fetus or severe mental.
