Biography
Sergi Mas Herrero is assistant professor of Pharmacology in the department of Pathology, Pharmacology and Microbiology of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Barcelona. Doctor in Biology from the University of Barcelona, ​​he has developed his research activity in the field of Pharmacogenetics. His work on schizophrenia focuses on the search for genetic markers for the prediction of extrapyramidal effects associated with treatment with antipsychotics. He is currently a member of the Genetic Area of ​​the Schizophrenia Clinic Group (GEC), attached to IDIBAPS and to the recently constituted CIBER-SAM. He is the author of numerous publications in indexed journals with external evaluation of various participations in national and intemational congresses.
