Biography
Graduate of Engineering in Nuclear Technologies and Energy at the Higher Institute of Applied Sciences and Technologies (INSTEC), City of Havana ,. Cuba in 2004. Since 2004 he worked as a researcher at the Neuroimaging Laboratory of the Department of Neurophysics of the Center for Neurosciences of Cuba. In 2007 he defended the thesis of Master in Neurophysics at the Center of Neurosciences of Cuba with the title "Use of structural tensors in the registry of medical images: Applications to automatic splitting of brain structures". Since 2008, he works as a researcher in the Medical Imaging Laboratory at the Experimental Medicine and Surgery Unit of the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital under the supervision of Prof. Manuel Desco Menéndez.
