Nicolas Mourier

Biography

Nicolas Mourier joined Sanifit in April 2017 as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing.  He brings over 20 years in the biopharmaceutical industry with a broad experience in all the Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) aspects from preclinical to commercial development across multiple indications. Prior to joining Sanifit, Nicolas was most recently the Vice President, CMC at Inotek Pharmaceuticals and Senior Vice President of CMC at Celsus Therapeutics, PLC (now Akari Therapeutics, PLC), where he oversaw the Project Management, Manufacturing and Pharmaceutical Development for all the pre-clinical and clinical drugs in Inotek and Celsus pipeline, respectively. He also held key leadership positions as consultant or head of CMC for several small and large biotechnologies companies assuming various cross functional roles as subject matter expert where he contributed on the development and approval of several drugs: obizur (Baxalta), iclusig (Ariad), velcade and mepact (Takeda), firazyr (Shire).  He received his Ph.D. degree in organic chemistry with honors from the University of Luminy (Marseille, France) under the supervision of Pr. J.-C. Chermann (Co-discoverer of the HIV virus at the Pasteur Institute in Paris, France).
