Biography
Enrique Lloves holds a degree in Law and Economics and Business Administration and a degree in Law from Universidad Pontificia Comillas. He joined Telefónica in July 2008 as director of M&A and coordinator of Corporate Development. In September 2011 he was appointed director of Corporate Development and Industrial Alliances at the Telefónica group and Fonditel. In these years he has participated in strategic acquisitions for the group such as GVT, E-Plus or Digital +; in divestments such as Atento, Telefónica's operations in the Czech Republic and Ireland or in the process of incorporation of financial partners into the capital of Telefónica Centroamérica and Telxius. In addition, he has participated in the IPO of Telefónica Deutschland and the capital increase of Vivo, as well as in the merger and corporate restructuring of Telefónica's fixed and mobile operations in Colombia. He has previously held offices at Altadis Group as senior vice president of Group Strategy and Planning, vice chairman of Altadis USA and chairman of Tabacalera Cigars International. Lloves started his career as a financial analyst at Banesto Bolsa and Beta Capital.
