Biography
Dr. Ana Gutierrez, Director and Co-owner, received her medical degree from the University of Alcala de Henares in Madrid, Spain in 1990. She worked in Internal Medicine in Glasgow, UK, and then completed her postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, which included a year of full-time medical research. Since 1995, she has been working full-time in medical marketing and market research in Spain. She has extensive experience conducting focus groups and interviews (face to face and by telephone) with doctors, KOLs and patients. She is an accomplished analyst and writer; the fruits of her research have provided many pharmaceutical and marketing organizations with a deep understanding of the Spanish market. She is also well-versed in all the laws, regulations, and industry practices pertinent to conducting market research in Spain. Ana is completely fluent in Spanish and English, and has worked across all disease areas, including: haematology, oncology, women’s health, primary care, cardiology, rheumatology, endocrinology, dermatology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, neurology, infectious diseases, respiratory medicine, urology, renal medicine and many other specialties. Ana has several years’ experience conducting ethnographic projects in such areas as HIV, cancer, and diabetes.
