Biography
Giovana Oliveira Silva is Graduated in Statistics from the Federal University of Espírito Santo (1994), Master in Statistics from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1999) and PhD in Statistics and Agricultural Experimentation from ESALQ-USP (2009). She is currently an associate professor in the Statistics Department of the Federal University of Bahia. She teaches and teaches in the Masters in Mathematics - Area of ​​Concentration in Statistics. He has experience in the area of ​​Probability and Statistics, with emphasis on Parametric Inference, working mainly on the following topics: regression models in survival analysis, sensitivity analysis, residue analysis and new probability distributions.
