Biography
Forestry Engineer (University of Chile, 1992) Master of Forestry Science (University of Canterbury, New Zealand, 1996) Ph.D. in Forestry Science (University of Canterbury, New Zealand, 2007) present working as Associate Professor in Forest Management Department and its Environment.
Research Interest
Use and application of models based on productive processes for decision making in carbon quantification, climate change, water use and prediction of growth and yield for commercial purposes. Research has focused on the representation of nutrition in forest models based on productive processes, and the modeling of carbon, water and nutrient cycles in forest ecosystems.
