Biography
Director (Associate Professor) Department Forestry and Nature Conservation, University of Chile. My main area of ​​interest is focused on Vegetation Ecology. Specifically the lines of research include: 1. Ecology of regeneration in natural and intervened forests. 2. Conservation and development of sustainable management of natural vegetation cover with emphasis on woodlands. 3. Recovery of degraded native forests .
Research Interest
Dr. Ingeniero Forestal, with experience in university teaching and in the development, management and execution of scientific research and development projects. I have a great interest in the sustainable use and conservation of natural resources, in forestry and in forest ecology. My main areas of interest include (1) forestry of native forests, (2) forest regeneration ecology, (3) effects of natural and anthropogenic disturbances on forest dynamics, (4) biodiversity in forests and (5) forest meteorology.
