Forestry Engineer (Universidad de Chile, 1977). Magister in Forest Sciences with Mention in Forest Resources Management (Universidad de Chile, 2008). Line of Research: Main Areas of Work: Quantitative Methods, Forest Measurement, Modeling. Projects: Evaluation and monitoring of the stocks of aerial biomass (ba) and optimization of supply networks to biofuel plants. Technological Consortium for Research in Biofuels from Lignocellulosic Material. Sub-Director and Researcher (project under development).
