Biography
José Arnáez Vadillo carries out his teaching and research work at the University of La Rioja. He has worked on different national and European research projects related to the environment and spatial planning. He has published works on problems of erosion, desertification and evolution of the landscape in different magazines of scientific impact. He has shown interest in territorial planning, collaborating or directing different studies for public bodies and private companies. In parallel to this work, he has published several books on the Geography of La Rioja. He is a member of the Drafting Committee of several scientific journals and directs Cuadros de Investigación Geográfica, published by the University of La Rioja. Has taught courses or seminars on environmental issues.
