Biography

In 1986 he began to teach Philosophy in the Faculty of Theology of Vitoria, specifically the subjects of History of Contemporary Philosophy and Ethics. At the same time, he teaches two optional courses each year in Philosophy of current affairs. In the Faculty of Theology of Vitoria remained until 1994. In 1988 he is called to be a Visiting Professor of Philosophy at the Theological Center of Pamplona, ​​where he was also until 1994. In December 1991 he presented his degree thesis " Raison critique or raison hermeneutique? An analysis of the controversy between Habermas et GadamerAt the University of Leuven (Belgium). Its thesis directors were Jean Ladrière and André Berten. In November 1994 he married Kontxi Aguirre. Since 1996 he has been professor of philosophy at the University of La Rioja and Professor of Moral Philosophy since August 2002. His philosophical concerns are broad, from the theory of knowledge to ethics and politics, philosophy of science, anthropology and the philosophy of religion.
