Biography
She completed the Bachelor of Biological Sciences in 1999 at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Málaga and the PhD in 2002 in the Department of Human Physiology of the Faculty of Medicine of the same University. She has been a professor at the UMA since 2007. Contracted Professor of Physiology Universidad de Málaga since 2011, she worked in 2003 at the Instituto de Biomedical Research "Alberto Sols" of Madrid, belonging to the Superior Council of Scientific Research and the Autonomous University of Madrid (CSIC-UAM), where she specialized in techniques of Central Nervous System Neurophysiology and Periferico, being the author of several publications in this field. Later she joined as a Collaborating Professor of Physiology of the Department of Medical Sciences of the Universidad San Pablo CEU in Madrid (2004- 2007), where she held the position of Coordinator of Preclinical Practices of Medicine. From 2007 until today she is Professor of Research at UMA, in the Department of Human Physiology and Physical and Sports Education of the Faculty of Medicine, where she was incorporated with a contract of Teaching Assistant (2007-2008), continued as Assistant Professor Doctor (2008-2011) and continues as Professor Contracted Doctor from 2011 to the present, performing teaching tasks and researchers. Since 2010 she is Representative of the Department of Human Physiology and Physical Education and Sport in the Commission for the recognition of Degree in Speech Therapy at the University of Málaga.
