Biography

Professor Titular de Universidad, her research experience, has been developed in projects subsidized by different financing entities, and through several objectives. The lines of research undertaken have had to do with the processing of visual information and with the study of the behavior of statistical measures through Monte Carlo simulation. The first one includes his Doctoral Thesis, which received the Extraordinary Doctorate Award. The results of these projects have produced, among others, the commercialization of a test for a greater diffusion and application, two patents of invention, as well as scientific contributions that have been communicated in scientific congresses and published in national and international magazines, which are featured in the Journalof CitationReports of the Social ScienceCitationIndex. This has been valued by the National Evaluation Commission of the Research Activity with the recognition of two sexennials. As far as teaching experience is concerned, the activity carried out since 1996 in the Area of ​​Behavioral Sciences Methodology has been broad and diverse, having in almost all subjects full responsibility, thus developing a global vision of the contents of the area of knowledge. Since the beginning of the implementation of the new Degree in Psychology, teaching responsibility has fallen on the compulsory subject Research Methodology and Statistics II. Regarding the teaching in Postgraduate, on the subject Research Methods and Designs in Clinical and Health Psychology in the Master's Degree in Health Psychology (Quality Mention of ANECA from 2006 to 2012). With regard to teacher training as a university professor, note the participation in numerous projects of educational innovation since 2001-02, subsidized by the University of Malaga, on the development of technological resources, the revision of the curriculum design of the subjects through the elaboration of Teaching Guides and the implications of the characteristics of the student of new entrance in the teaching of methodological subjects, among others.
