She enjoyed a pre-doctoral fellowship from the Community of Madrid in the Department of Animal Production of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid. In 2006 she obtained the Doctorate with European mention and Prize Extraordinary in the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Malaga. She has been a professor at the UMA since 2009.
