Biography
Federico Benjamín Galacho Jiménez has been a Doctor of Geography since 1996 (Prize Extraordinary PhD corresponding to the Doctoral Thesis defended at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (Geography Section) during the academic years 1995/1996 and 1996/1997. He develops his work as Full Professor of the Area of ​​Regional Geographic Analysis of the Department of Geography of the University of Málaga (Spain). Its research task and professional practice focuses mainly on applied Territory in tourism and rural areas and in the application of Information Systems Geographical and Spatial Remote Sensing. He is currently Researcher and Group Director HUM776, Geographic Analysis, attached to the Department of Geography of the University of Malaga. To date he has authored 5 books, 12 book chapters, 20 publications in magazines and 39 contributions to Congress and has participated in 12 R & D & I Projects and 21 Conventions and Contracts for applied research.
