Biography

In 1997 she received an FPU Pre-Doctoral Fellowship from the Ministry of Education and Culture, in order to carry out her doctoral thesis in the Archeology Area of ​​the University of Málaga, a research that she would develop during the Period 1997-2000, specializing in subjects of archeology and Roman-republican iconography with the attendance to courses and seminars, and also collaborating in teaching tasks assigned to the mentioned area. Obtain the research sufficiency after outstandingly excel the Doctorate Program "Mythology and Greek and Latin Literature: philological studies", doctoring in History in 2001 with outstanding cum laude , having defended the thesis "The sculpture in Iberian stone and Roman workshop of Vrso (Osuna, Seville) "directed by the Professor of Archeology, Prof. Rodríguez Oliva. With continuous dedication, he reinforces the curriculum in the field of German philology, which, together with his academic career, was worth in 2002 to obtain a Postdoctoral Fellowship supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. Archeology at the University of Cologne (Germany), under the guidance of Prof. H. von Hesberg, consolidating his training in Roman-provincial archeology and monumental funerary architecture, as he did during his predoctoral stays at research centers in Munich, Rome and the CSIC of Madrid, being evident of this in the presentation of its results in national and international forums and their publications. In October of 2003 returns to Spain to rejoin to the Area of ​​Archeology of the University of Malaga like Associate Professor. Two years later she would be granted the national accreditation as a Doctor Assistant Professor holding this figure until 2009 when after being accredited by the ANECA, she would agree as opposed to the category of Professor Contracted Doctor. In March 2012, the National Accreditation Certificate was granted by the ANECA and the Council of Universities that qualifies it for access to the Body of University Professors. The applicant carries out her research work with full dedication, having expanded her field of management and dissemination of archaeological heritage and improvement in teaching practice as evidenced by her participation in educational innovation groups and seminars aimed, among other aspects, at the optimal adaptation to the System of the EHEA. During his career he has taught in the Bachelor's Degree and Degree in History, the Tourism Diploma and in official Masters, and has recently carried out new stays at the German Archaeological Institute in Berlin.
