Biography
e received his PhD in Psychology (1990) from the University of Málaga, where he began teaching in the area of ​​Psychobiology as a Full-time Associate Professor in December 1986. In 1990 he started the Experimental Psychopharmacology research group, funded by the Regional Ministry of Innovation, Science and Business of the Regional Government of Andalusia (CTS-195), where it has trained a dozen doctors over the years. In 1992 he obtained a post of Professor Titular University, and since 2009 is Professor of Psychobiology at the University of Malaga. His main field of research is psychopharmacology, having developed his works mainly in the field of neuropsychopharmacology of aggression, sleep and drug addiction (MDMA, GHB, etc). He has published more than 200 articles in scientific journals (http://www.researcherid.com/rid/B-3351-2011), as well as several books and monographs. He has also been an external reviewer for about forty scientific journals and is part of the Editorial Board of several journals indexed in the Journal of Citation Reports (ISI) and other databases. It has four consecutive six-year research (1988-2011) and five five-year teaching (1987-2011).
