Biography

I am Professor of University and Director and Professor of the Department of Economics and Business Administration of the University of Malaga (ETSI Industrial). I have been Academic Visiting at the School of Civil Engineering, working on prevention management in construction for 12 months at Loughborough University. This School ranks first or second in the UK ranking, among the Civil Engineering Schools of the UK on a sustained basis. Previously I was responsible for the PRL service of the Social Security Mutual Nº10 in Eastern Andalusia. I have extensive experience as a consultant and PRL management consultant, having drafted evaluation and audit reports, supervising institutional reports, conducting judicial examinations, designing and delivering specialized training, etc. My field of research is the management of PRL, Prevention Through Design and Resilience Engineering. The construction sector and mills and industry in general are the sectors where I have worked the most. I have published in the best JCR PRL journals, such as Accident Analysis and Prevention, Safety Science, Journal of Safety Research, Reliability Engineering & System Safety, etc. I am a reviewer of 12 journals indexed in the JCR and member of the Organizing / Scientific Committee of 16 International Congresses, such as AHFE, SHO, ORP, CISEO, etc. --- I am Associate Professor of Management (Department of Economics and Business Administration at the University of Malaga, School of Industrial Engineering). I ' has been a Visiting Academic at the School of Civil Engineering in Loughborough University (first or second school in the UK steadily ranking), working on OH & SManagement in construction for 12 months. Before, I was in charge of the Occupational Health & Safety Service of Eastern Andalusia of Social Labor Insurance from our Government. I have extensive experience as a consultant and adviser in OHS management having written advisory reports, evaluation reports and audits, expert in trials, training design, etc. My research is focused on OH & S management, Prevention Through Design and Engineering Resilience.
