Biography
M. Carmen Álvarez has a degree and doctor (1975) in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Oviedo. Doctorate Institute of Genetics (CSIC), Madrid. Professor of Genetics (1982) and Professor of Genetics since 2002, at the University of Malaga (UMA). Her scientific career has been completed with stays at the University of Minnesota (USA) and Uppsala (Sweden) Her current research focuses on the study of Immunogenes of cultured species of fish
