Biography

She is Professor of the University in the area of ​​knowledge of Inorganic Chemistry in the UMA since 2012. She obtained her Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) in 1999 at the University of Málaga and the Doctorate in Chemistry in 2003 at the University of Málaga. Her research activity is focused on the preparation and characterization of materials of the construction. Primarily, it has specialized in the mineralogical analysis of materials using the Rietveld methodology. In addition, she has a lot of experience in use of large facilities such as synchrotrons (ESRF-France, ALBA-Spain, Soleil-France) or nuclear reactors (ILL-France). Since 2012, she is a University Titular and Principal Investigator in two projects, one of the national plan MAT2010-16213 "Optimization of Cement Belites with greater mechanical resistances and lower CO2 emissions "(2011-2014) and another one of Excellence Of the Regional Government of Andalusia P11-FQM-07517 "Optimization of sulfoaluminate "(2013-2016). She is the co-author of 46 scientific publications, co-author of 13 publications in congresses (3 international and 4 national), co-author of 3 chapters books. Assistance To more than 30 national and international congresses since 1999. She co-directed 2 doctoral theses at the University of Málaga defended in 2007 and 2011. As well as 4 final projects of Chemical Engineers in the UMA. In the Currently she is co-directing three doctoral theses. She teaches teaching since 2012 in the subject of Materials Science of the Bachelor and Degree in Chemistry and in the subject of Inorganic Chemistry of the Degree of Chemical Engineer at the UMA. In the period 1999-2011, she has taught in Various subjects of the department.
