Biography

Degree in Chemical Sciences, University of Granada in 1972 and Doctor in Sciences (Section of Chemistry) by the University of Malaga in 1979. He has held the following academic positions: Assistant Professor Inorganic Chemistry (1972-1979), Assistant Professor Numerary or Full Professor (1983- 1999) and University Professor from 1999 to the present. Visiting professor and guest lecturer at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (PARIS VI). Her research activity has focused on the areas of Solid State Chemistry, Materials Science, Inorganic Chemistry and Chemistry of Intercalation. He has published more than 120 articles indexed in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR-WOS). As researcher Principal has participated in 25 projects funded in competitive calls from the That 5 are international projects. He has conducted research stays at the Université Catholique de Louvaine (Belgium), at the Istituto Nazionale di Física Nucleare; Frascati (Italy) and the Institute of Science of Materials, CSIC (Madrid). He has belonged to the National Evaluation and Prospective Agency (ANEP) in the Science and Technology of Materials (2006-2010) and is an expert of the National Evaluation of Quality and Accreditation (ANECA) for the field of Chemistry.
