Biography

I have been a PhD in Geography since 1995, and a member of the Department of Geography of Málaga first as a bachelor's student, then as a Fellowship Program Scholarship of Teacher Training and Research Personnel in Spain (P.F.P.P.I.) and later as a teacher, specifically with the figures of Assistant, Associate and finally holder since 2003. I belong to the Research Group HUM 776 Geographical Analysis, and as a member I have participated in the following projects: Project of Evaluation of the rural tourism potential, financed with ERDF funds, 1FD97-1663. Methodological development on the evaluation of the capacity for recreational uses of spaces protected, funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. SEJ 2007-67690 / GEOG. Po7-Hum-03049 At present, there are two areas of research on which my research focuses: the study of the rural environment and the sociodemographic analysis of the Andalusian region. While the the development of the following thematic lines: rural development, the practice of organic farming, management and tourist activity in Andalusian protected areas, all derived from my original interest in the marginality of rural space and the study of the profitability of land, together with the study of the rural population, demographic changes and migratory flows in Andalusia.
