After graduating in psychology from the University of Santiago de Compostela in 1992, earned Master's degree in drug addiction and later of Ph.D. in Psychology at the same University. After a brief period as a postdoctoral fellow, I began my academic career as an Assistant in 1998, obtaining the post of Lecturer in neuropsychology in 2008. My teaching activity has focused on Neuropsychology both at the level of degree (Bachelor of psychology of the University of Santiago) and in the postgraduate (master in clinical neuropsychology from USC), and the doctorate (Neuroscience, Clinical psychology and Psychobiology).

Research Interest

The research was oriented towards the study of risk markers to alcoholism, analyzing the neuropsychological functioning in children with positive family history, and currently focuses on the study of binge drinking neuropsychological consequences in adolescents and young people
