Biography
"My career goals have changed and probably evolved, but I´ve never been away from Psychology, Education, and Research. (Edupsychlab.org) I studied my career in Clinical Psychology at University of Santiago de Compostela. I´m passionate about neuroscience and cognitive psychology, especially focused on the area of LEARNING. I took a master degree in Learning Disorders and Cognitive Processes. Currently, I´m pursuing my doctoral thesis at the UNV (University of Vigo). My topics are number cognition, learning processes and innovation. The story of my professional experience could be summarized in the treatment of special educational needs and other disorders such as addiction, anxiety, and depression. In recent years, I have worked in social services for people without resources and have collaborated on multiple projects for development NGOs worldwide. Mostly I work as counselor and trainer in education and labor field. I obtained a postgraduate training in Human Resource Management, focusing rather on career development and vocational training. I consider myself, a staunch defender of inclusive education rights of disabled people and their right to access to professional development. I combine my work as a psychologist with my passion for literature. edupsychlab.org resources.psychology@gmail.com"
