Biography
Yolanda GarcÃa has a BA in Spanish Language and Literature (University of Santiago de Compostela, 2013) and a MA in Cognitive Science and Humanities: Language, Communication and Organization (ILCLI-University of the Basque Country, 2015). She is currently a PhD researcher in irony in high-functioning autism at the University of the Basque Country, under the supervision of Dr. Kepa Korta and Dr. Fernando GarcÃa Murga. She is a member of the research group on Language, Action and Thought.
Research Interest
Her main research interests are irony, non-literal speech, clinical pragmatics and the cognitive abilities involved in pragmatic skills. She is nowadays a member of the research group on Language, Action, and Thought.
