Antonio Miguel Cruz

Biography

 Distinguished Professor of the Universidad del Rosario, 2012. He is the current director of the Biomedical Engineering Program of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Universidad del Rosario. He holds a degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Higher Institute of Nuclear Sciences and Technologies of Havana, Cuba.  He also holds a Master's degree in Sciences in the area of ​​Bioengineering, Instituto Superior Politécnico José Antonio Echeverría (ISPJAE), in Havana, Cuba. He obtained his PhD in Bioengineering from ISPJAE in 2003. Research Interest

He is involved in projects of education and interdisciplinary research in the area of ​​biomedical engineering, specifically in clinical engineering, hospital technological management and statistics applied to the field of health. He is also interested in the topic of the evaluation of the quality of health services. It is in a position to receive up to two master's or doctoral students in the areas of knowledge mentioned above.  His most recent research has been linked to the application of empirical statistical methods for the evaluation of maintenance service providers in the health sector, the provision of rehabilitation technologies, and the evaluation of the acceptance of rehabilitation technologies.
